As you are able to offer your know-how, skills and ideas in form of a brief intensive course, a seminar or a series of meetings, the reach-out of your engagement will turn out more sustainable. workshop on media & self-expression @ DMRC
september 2010 | 12 boys at DMRC will attend this workshop on multi-media and self-presentation. They are going to improve their multimedia skills especially in photography and blog-writing and they will learn more about self-presentation, their personal skills and interests. media-workshop 2009 in Apna Ghar
september 2009 | The 2009 media-workshop started after Eid, the Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. In the beginning ten boys of SBT who are attending multi-media class since a couple of month started to practicing in addition to graphic programms on Photography and internet-related software and BLOG-writing. French Fashion Photographer organized workshop
june 2008 | In an effort to explore the creative skills of children Frederic Valezy- a Paris based fashion photographer volunteered with the Trust and organized a photography workshop in the month of May. Five children from Apnaghar, SBT participated in the workshop and took hundreds of photographs (indoor and outdoor). The selected photographs were exhibited informally at Alliance Franchise, Lodi Road, New Delhi on 24th May 2008. And a formal exhibition is planned in June at the same venue.

Dear friends of Salaam Baalak Trust,
I am happy to let you know that we will have our first exibition of pictures children of Salaam Baalak Trust have taken during the media-workshop in may 2008. We will present them the first time on the 21th of august in Aachen, Germany. The exibition is called “Change of Perspective”. It will show the childrens’perspective of Delhi’s street life. Besides choosing a topic they shot all pictures by themself. We as an auditorium shall be inspired towards critical thinking.
